Welcome to a Different Place

Following in the footsteps of the successful Residencias Los Jardines resort development, Hacienda El Dorado is to become the location the adventurers and conquistadors never found. We invite you to discover your El Dorado by browsing through this website!

A truly hidden treasure in the Central Valley, Hacienda El Dorado offers luxury living in peace with nature and the surrounding community. A place to live and play up in the hills of Santa Ana nestled between rich green valley ridges touching the blue sky, the lights of the Central Valley creating a perfect backdrop together with distant views of the volcano Poas. Four hectares of walking trails, tropical gardens, magnificent ancient trees and the omnipresent sound of running water coming from the stream of Rio Oro and its natural waterfalls.

Hacienda El Dorado is a secure, gated community of 100 residences in a pastoral setting located in the foothills near the headwaters of Rio Oro overlooking the Central Valley (1.8 km West from the Red Cross of Santa Ana, 1.6 km South up the valley road to Montaña del Sol). Here you will find our beautiful homes located in a garden setting with trees, shrubs and flowers everywhere along with extensive common recreational and social areas including three swimming pools, BBQs, water fountains, jogging and walking trails, a fitness center, basketball and tennis courts and a lot more. There will also be a fully staffed on-site property management and rentals office.

Unlike many other residential developments, Hacienda El Dorado has been designed for those individuals and families seeking a genuine living experience in comfort, luxury, peace, tranquility and harmony with nature yet open to creating long-lasting friendships, sharing different experiences, customs, perspectives with others and creating new opportunities.

The name Hacienda El Dorado has been chosen because the Rio Oro (Gold River) runs through it. Additionally, we strongly believe that for the purchasers, Hacienda El Dorado represents a good investment and an opportunity for a new future. The development brings together many important elements that are generally missing in Costa Rican residential compounds. We invite you to learn about the development, compare it to other products on the market and make conclusions for yourself. We are convinced that Hacienda El Dorado is what has previously been missing in Costa Rica.
