Developers with a Proven Record
The Developers are not newcomers to Costa Rica. Brian Timmons and Paul Leduc have successfully completed the Residencia Los Jardines resort and as such established a track record of success. A proven product and design, satisfied clients-home buyers and a waiting list of people interested in leasing and purchasing at Los Jardines constitute clear evidence of this. The success is partially owed to the developers’ commitment to creating and most importantly maintaining value through a rigorous property management program. Home owners and investors enjoy the possibility of “lock and leave” or “leave and lease” knowing the developers are fully in charge and their property is in safe hands. As a result, Residencias Los Jardines enjoys 85% occupancy on an on-going basis at premium rental rates. In short, the 29-home Residencias Los Jardines is the model showroom for those purchasers and investors interested in Hacienda El Dorado.
Brian Timmons
(American / Canadian, born 1946, married, grown child) reached a stage in his life where the quality of life was more important than the quantity of “things”.
It was simply no longer “fun” developing just another condo or doing another warehouse conversion to a “loft”. He felt there had to be more satisfying and rewarding work and a nicer place in which to do it. He reoriented his life and brought his 35 years of construction, development and property management expertise to Costa Rica. He planed for CR to be his winter home along with his wife, cat and parrot but he fell in love with CR and chooses to live in Residencias Los Jardines.
Paul Leduc
(Canadian, born 1947, married, 5 grown children), built large commercial developments -malls, office buildings, warehouses - for years and years. For the last 10 years, he renovated over 70 buildings in the Entertainment District of Toronto, salvaging them from the wrecking ball and reinventing them as modern workspaces for the "new" economy.
In September of 2004 he joined Los Jardines and became a vital element of the development. His years of experience and building savvy as well as his fluency in Spanish allowed him to make significant contributions to Los Jardines.
Note:
Having two equally competent builders as developers is an insurance policy to the purchaser. If an accident, illness, or personal misfortune happens to one, the other one can carry on and see the project through.
